President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko hopes Poland to assist in giving the third package of macro-financial assistance to Ukraine from the European Union.
He was quoted as saying during talks with Polish Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
"Given the fact that Ukraine's financial situation is very complicated as a result of war and aggression against Ukraine, we do hope, Ms Prime Minister, Poland will assist in providing third package of macro-financial assistance of the European Union to Ukraine. I would like to inform you we are determined to implement reform programs that will improve the investment climate, introduce the rule of law and demonstrate decisive steps to combat corruption," he said.
According to the President, a special commission is working now to determine a head of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau which is planned to start operations in February 2015.
