Monday, January 19, Polish Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz will pay her first visit to Kyiv since election to the post of head of the Polish government. The PM will be accompanied by five ministers and three deputy ministers, the Polish government's press office informs, an Ukrinform correspondent from Poland reports.
"The visit will be aimed at intensifying of the bilateral relations," the press office informs.
In Kyiv, Kopacz is to meet with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk, as well as to take part in the plenary session of the members of the governments of both countries.
In course of her visit to Ukraine, the PM will be accompanied by the ministers of finance, culture and national heritage, infrastructure and development, science and higher education, national education, as well as deputy ministers of foreign affairs, economy and national defense.
Kopacz was elected the head of the Polish government last September.
