The parliamentary coalition's council has backed up a proposal put forth by parliament speaker Volodymyr Hroisman to gather for a special parliament meeting on Monday, March 2.
This was announced by Hroisman's press secretary Dmytro Stoliarchuk after the meeting of the parliamentary coalition's council on Thursday was over, an UNIAN correspondent reported.
Thus, lawmakers will gather for a special plenary meeting on Monday to consider amendments to the national budget and related bills.
Hroisman suggests that a bill on amendments to the national budget and related bills be examined in detail by the parliamentary committees on Friday, February 27, and then be discussed at parliamentary factions' meetings on Saturday, February 28. The parliamentary coalition's council should hold a meeting on Sunday, March 1, to work out common positions so that they be tabled for consideration by parliament at the Monday plenary meeting.
