Foreign Ministry: Russia plans to send next "humanitarian convoy"

Russia announced its intention to send next so-called "humanitarian convoy" to Donbas on February 27.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Yevhen Perebyinis said this at a briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"Yesterday, we received another note from the Russian Foreign Ministry regarding Russia's intention to send goods, called 'humanitarian' by the Russian side, to Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine on February 27," he said.

According to him, in the note in answer sent by the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine, the Ukrainian side expressed its categorical demand not to carry out the mentioned goods across the state border of Ukraine, without the consent of the Ukrainian side, border and customs control by the competent authorities of Ukraine, and also without coordination with the International Committee of the Red Cross and unaccompanied by its representatives.
