Meeting of "Normandy Four" at the level of Foreign Ministers will be held in Paris on Tuesday, February 24.
This information was confirmed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development of France Laurent Fabius, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
"The Foreign Ministers of France, Germany, Russia and Ukraine will meet in Paris on Tuesday to discuss the conflict in eastern Ukraine," he said.
According to a diplomatic source in Paris, a meeting and talks of the foreign ministers of the "Normandy format" countries on a peaceful settlement of the conflict in eastern Ukraine are scheduled for February 24, 12:00 Kyiv time in the premises of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development of France in Paris.
The diplomat also said that the talks are expected to be quite complex, but he did not rule out their "positive outcome." The interviewee added that the possibility of a joint statement after talks and a press conference for journalists is not finally decided and should be agreed upon. According to the diplomat, there is a possibility that there will not be "a joint press conference".
