Today, Ukraine honors the feat of the Heavenly Hundred - the people, who were killed during the Maidan protests on February 18-20, 2014.
The corresponding decree was published on the President's website.
According to the document, the Day of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes will be marked annually in Ukraine on February 20.
The Cabinet of Ministers is instructed to develop and adopt a comprehensive action plan, providing in particular for establishing a museum in Kyiv dedicated to the Revolution of Dignity.
February 18-20, 2014, 115 people, including policemen, were killed on the Maidan Nezalezhnosti Square (the Independence Square) in Kyiv. Four activists more were killed before shooting at EuroMaidan activists. Most people were killed on February 20 with the snipers' bullets.
The killed protesters are called the Heavenly Hundred.
