Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) of the OSCE is ready to cooperate with the peacekeeping forces in Donbas, in case of their deployment in Ukraine.
Spokesperson for the OSCE SMM Michael Bociurkiw announced this at a briefing in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
"It is clearly determined that we cooperate with different parties, in particular, with the United Nations. If we talk about the possible peacekeeping forces, then, of course, we are ready to cooperate with them," Bociurkiw said.
Herewith, he noted that the OSCE mission is civil in its nature, and its employees do not have weapons. Bociurkiw also noted the importance of ensuring observers' safety.
