President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and the leadership of the European Union have agreed on "extremely fast response" in the event of further breach of the Minsk agreements after the completion of the operation on withdrawal of Ukrainian servicemen from Debaltseve.
The President has stated this at the meeting with EU Commissioner for European Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"On the day when I made a decision to withdraw our troops from Debaltseve, I and the leadership of the European Union agreed on an extremely fast response in the event of further violations of the Minsk agreements," Poroshenko said.
The President noted that the main topic of conversation with the EU commissioner today would be analysis of implementation of the Minsk agreements, in particular, the issues of cease-fire and removal of heavy weaponry.
"All violations of the Minsk Agreement, which we have recently observed, have to get a proper assessment of the European Union, the United States, Canada and the whole world," Poroshenko said.
