Russian President Vladimir Putin says that the U.S. has already supplied weapons to Ukraine, but neither these supplies, nor any other would change the situation in the east of Ukraine.
He said this after a meeting with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban in Budapest on Tuesday, Interfax reported.
"Firstly, according to our information, weapons have been already supplied to Ukraine. And there is nothing unusual. Secondly, I am deeply convinced that despite the amount of military aid provided to Ukraine, the situation in Donbas will not change radically. In this case, the number of victims can only be increased, it is inevitable," Putin said.
As reported, NATO Command and the Security Service of Ukraine have repeatedly stated that they have conclusive evidence for the involvement of Russian military equipment, weapons and military units in the war in Donbas.
