The European Union has expressed concern about non-fulfillment of the new Minsk agreements in the east of Ukraine and calls to immediately start the planned stage of their implementation - the withdrawal of heavy weapons.
Spokesperson for the European Commission Catherine Ray said this on Tuesday, an Ukrinform correspondent in Brussels reported.
"The ceasefire must be observed. The shelling must be stopped. We are concerned about the continuation of hostilities in the area of Debaltseve. We urge all parties to implement the provisions of the agreements signed last week. All hostilities must cease, and the withdrawal of heavy weapons should begin today," Ray said.
