Expect fighting in the Donbas conflict zone to intensify in the next few days before a ceasefire on Saturday midnight.
Former Swedish foreign minister Carl Bildt expressed his opinion in his Twitter.
"Ceasefire agreement in Minsk most welcome. But expect fighting to intensify next few days. Closing down midnight Saturday could be tricky," he wrote.
As was reported earlier, the leaders of Ukraine, France, Germany and Russia reached an agreement on a set of measures to implement the Minsk agreement, including provisions on the withdrawal of heavy weapons and ceasefire between Ukrainian troops and pro-Russian separatists to begin on February 15.
